Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Motorbike Test Ride and Tour Introduction 
 

After breakfast you will be introduced to your motorcycles. You will then be given a short hand on to the bike and you can take the bike for a short ride so that you can test the bike yourself. Towards the evening you would be given the tour introduction by the tour leader and in case you need to buy something you may get it from the market.

Day 2: Manali to Sojha 

Today after breakfast you start your journey in the Himalayas on your motorcycles from Manali towards Banjar Valley to Sojha. On the way we would cross Kullu Valley also known as the valley of gods and from Aut, we would divert towards the Banjar Valley. Banjar Valley is a hub of many beautiful places in Himachal that still remains unexplored by the tourists. After crossing Jibhi we reach Sojha. This is where our day ends for today and after a hearty meal, we rest overnight.

Day 3: Sojha to Sarahan

After breakfast, we move from Sojha towards Sarahan, a small village which is the site of the Bhimakali Temple, originally known as Bhimadevi Temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali. The temple is known to be around 800 years old. Dinner & overnight stay in the temple guest house.

Day 4: Sarahan to Sangla

Today we start our journey from Sarahan to Sangla enroute Thach, Karcham Dam and Shaung. The valley is one of the most beautiful valley in the country. The place feature houses and temples that are built in Kinnuari wood and stone style. Sangla valley is covered with dense forest slopes and apple orchards. The most significant achievement of this region which is worth laudable is that this area boasts of growing the world’s best quality apples. After reaching Sangla, dinner and rest overnight.

Day 5: Sangla to Kalpa

After breakfast, today we will go towards Chitkul, last village of the region, a beautiful village untouched by tourists. Then we retrace our journey back to the Dam and then once again continue on the national highway all the way to Kalpa, a small town in the Satluj river valley, above Recong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Once in Kalpa after check in you are free to check out the local area. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6: Kalpa to Nako

After breakfast we ride towards Recong Peo, get our permits ready. Then enroute visiting the confluence of river Satluj and Spiti at Khab. Nako, is a small village near to the Indo-China Border. Upon reaching Nako in the evening, after check-in you are free to explore Nako village is located on the banks of Nako Lake. In Nako you can visit Nako Monastery, dated to 1025, as well as several other Buddhist chortens. Along with that you can visit Nako Lake which is believed to have the foot print of Padmasambhava. Another feature of this lake is that it freezes in the winters and people use it for ice skating practice.

Day 7: Nako to Kaza

After an early breakfast, we ride towards Kaza along the Spiti River. Enroute we would visit Tabo Monastery, which was founded in 996AD by the great teacher Richensang- Po. The monastery has nine temples, four decorated stupas, and several cave shrines adorned with frescoes and contemporary structures too. From here we continue towards Dhankar. Here we have Dhankar monastery which stands high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. This monastery was once a fort and was the residence of the ruler of Spiti. After this we move directly to Kaza. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 8: Kaza Local

After a leisurely morning breakfast today we visit the Ki Monastery (one of the world’s oldest monestery) and Kibber (World’s Second highest village). Ki Monastery is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. And from here we move towards Kibber at 4205m and then ride back to Kaza and later you are free to stroll the Kaza main market area. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 9: Kaza to Jispa

Today after breakfast you start your journey in the Himalayas on your motorcycles from Kaza to Jispa crossing kunzum pass and also crossing several beautiful villages of Lahaul Valley like Koksar (1st police check post), Sissu, Gondhala, Tandi (the confluence of Chandra & Bhaga river which is known as Chenab when enters in Pakistan) and Keylong. On reaching the destination you are free to stroll around after check in. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Jispa to Sarchu

Breakfast at the Hotel and today we move towards Sarchu enroute passing two beautiful breath-taking lakes Deepak Taal and Suraj Taal. Also we cross Zing-Zing Bar and Baralacha Pass (4850 Mtrs). On arrival we check in at the camp for overnight stay. Sarchu is also known for its starry nights so if you are lucky you would also be able to see the clusters of stars and get mesmerized by its night beauty.

Day 11: Sarchu to Leh

Today we take an early start after an early breakfast as this day we cross three high mountain passes Nakila Pass (4900 Mtrs), lachlungla Pass (5000 Mtrs) and the world’s third hightest motorable road the Tanglang La Pass (5300 Mtrs). This stretch has one of the World's most spectacular and picturesque landscapes that leaves all its visitors overwhelmed and astonished. Then upon reaching Leh check in at the hotel and rest over-night.

Day 12: Leh Rest

Today we rest for the day but if you wish, you are free to stroll the market or check out nearby places.

Day 13: Leh to Pengong

After breakfast we start for Pangong lake (4350 Mtrs), enroute we cross Changla Pass – the world’s second highest motorable road (5356 Mtrs). Arrive at Pangong, which is the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by two countries India & Tibet. Approximately 60% of the lakes length lies in Tibet. The entire length of the lake is around 5 Km at its broadest point. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. For overnight stay check in at the camp.

Day 14: Pengong-Leh-Khardungla-Leh

Next morning after breakfast we head back to Leh from Pangong and then after a small halt, head to the world’s highest motorable road, Khardungla Pass (5359 Mtrs). Khardungla Pass is historically very important as it lies on the major Silk route from Leh to Central Asia. About 10,000 horses and camels used to take the route annually. Return to Leh and rest overnight at the holel. The tour ends so we all say our goodbyes and well wishes.

Day 11: Departure

Flight leaves early morning so cabs will be provided for transportation till airport as per the flight timings.
